Transitional Partner on the USAID Feed the Future Inclusive Markets Activity | FtF IAM

The Feed the Future Inclusive Agricultural Market Activity (FtF IAM) is a five-year USAID funded program that is implemented by DAI Global Inc. The Activity seeks to increase incomes and improve the livelihood of households through agriculture-led inclusive economic growth in 38 focused zones of influence (ZOI) districts in Uganda FtF IAM’s market systems development (MSD) approach is a flexible buy-in mechanism integrating private sector engagement and markets systems development approaches into USAID programming to accelerate agriculture-led growth and food security.

SDS is proud to be a transitional awardee in the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning for Markey Systems Development (MEL4MSD) initiative with FtF IAM which aims to build the capacity of local firms in Uganda to conduct MSD monitoring, evaluation and research activities. As part of this initiative, SDS conducted a household survey with approximately 1,150 households to measure the impact of FTF IAM supported interventions at household level (on farmers, entrepreneurs, vulnerable families etc.) on access to inputs, output markets, technologies, and supporting services promoted by the Activity’s partners as well as the household Resilience Indices across the ZOIs.
