The Feed the Future Inclusive Agricultural Market Activity (FtF IAM) is a five-year USAID funded program that is implemented by DAI Global Inc. The Activity seeks to increase incomes and improve the livelihood of households through agriculture-led inclusive economic growth.
DrugDash implementation aided redistribution of family planning commodities using a decision support system focused on supporting lower administrative levels of the supply chain, so that data and information are utilized. This resulted into increased access to family planning methods of choice for women and young people through improved decision making on the redistribution of family planning commodities in the districts. SDS led the baseline assessment in Kitgum and Lamwo districts covering 25 health facilities.
The Ministry of Health managed Uganda Reproductive, Maternal, Child Health Improvement Project (URMCHIP), financed by the World Bank, the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), and the Global Financing Facility (GFF) supported collective action towards key intervention areas for achieving equitable accelerated improvements in maternal, newborn and child mortality rates in Uganda.
SPRING focused on improving lives, especially in the first 1,000 days, by working across food, health, and hygiene, through linking agriculture and nutrition, aiming for social and behaviour change through communication, building the evidence base for what works, and through “big picture thinking” through a systems approach to improving nutrition.
